The Role
We are seeking a skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join this dynamic team. The primary purpose of this role is to continue building the core application by developing new features and implementing upgrades to enhance the product. You will play a crucial role in creating a proactive defense mechanism that monitors code as commits are made, contributing to the future of app security.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement complex, manageable features using best practices (SOLID principles).
Collaborate with the team to enhance our primary application, focusing on building new features and upgrading existing functionalities.
Share knowledge, mentor team members, and actively participate in collaborative problem-solving.
Ensure the backend systems are efficient, reliable, and scalable.
Requirements
5+ years of proven experience as a backend engineer.
Strong proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and SQL.
Demonstrated ability to design and implement complex features while ensuring maintainability.
Experience with Nest.js, Prisma.js, Serverless architecture, and No-SQL databases is a plus.
