The Role
As the Head of Events you will be responsible for spearheading our event strategies and execution to elevate our brand presence, foster meaningful connections, and drive engagement within our target audience. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our event initiatives from conception to completion, ensuring seamless execution and maximum impact. This role reports directly to the CEO.
Key Responsibilities
Event Strategy Development: Design and implement a strategic event plan that aligns with overall business objectives and enhances brand recognition. Develop innovative event concepts and formats to engage target audience effectively.
Leadership & Management: Lead and manage a dedicated events team, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure successful event execution. Foster a collaborative and high-performance environment within the team.
Event Planning & Execution: Oversee the end-to-end planning and execution of all events, including conferences, trade shows, webinars, workshops, and company-sponsored events. Manage all logistical aspects, including venue selection, vendor coordination, and on-site management.
Budget Management: Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions and efficient use of resources. Track expenses and ensure financial objectives are met.
Brand Representation: Ensure that all events reflect and reinforce brand values and messaging. Develop creative ways to showcase brand and engage attendees.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including marketing, sales, and product teams, to align event goals and integrate event activities with broader marketing and business initiatives.
Performance Measurement: Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for each event. Conduct post-event evaluations to assess effectiveness, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with industry influencers, partners, and key clients. Leverage these relationships to enhance event success and drive additional opportunities for engagement.
Innovation & Trends: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in event management. Apply innovative approaches to enhance event experiences and drive greater engagement.
Requirements
Proven track record of success in creating, planning, and executing large and small-scale events within the technology industry.
In addition to events you will ahve experience building a successful ABM strategy.
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders at all levels.
Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and a keen eye for detail to deliver memorable event experiences that resonate with target audiences.
Proficiency in event management software, CRM platforms, and digital marketing tools.
Leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve goals and exceed expectations.
Experience within Education is not essential although preferred, but your desire to make a difference in this space is essential .
